Rufus Besterman is a London-based DJ known for his eclectic and dynamic sets. With a deep-rooted passion for vinyl, his signature sound is shaped by two decades of musical exploration, seamlessly blending timeless classics with rare and undiscovered gems from around the world.

With over ten years of experience in the industry, Rufus plays at an array of events both in the UK and internationally. From long-standing residencies at esteemed venues such as Loulou’s, The Groucho Club, and Isabel Mayfair to high-profile events for brands and individuals, to his festival performances at Glastonbury, Wilderness, and WOMAD, Rufus pushes creative boundaries often featuring unique genre crossovers from his extensive collection of records. Over the years, he has shared the stage with icons like Jamie XX, Skrillex, Nightmares on Wax, Timo Maas, Carl Cox, and Chloé Caillet.

Beyond DJing, Rufus curates bespoke playlists consulting for luxury brands, hospitality venues, and private clients. He also works alongside a number of charities, organising live music and DJ-led charity events supporting organisations such as Global Heritage Fund, James’s Place, and the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond.
